She is fueled by her desire to charm folks with the tastes of her hometown, New Orleans, and with the support of Libby Truesdell, partner and wife, she turned her dreams of owning a restaurant into a reality. Brenda's made the SF Chronicle's Top 100 Restaurants, Best Cajun/Creole Top 5 by Bay Area A List, 21 Best Southern Restaurants Outside the South by Thrillist, and the Top 10 Best Places for Fried Chicken in SF by SF Weekly.
