Four Star Seafood began foremost as a friendship between two chefs (Adrian Hoffman & Ismael Macias). Adrian and Ismael worked together in kitchens throughout San Francisco and decided to take a risk together to provide better access to the freshest seafood for chefs and home chefs alike. Four Star Seafood supports a wide range of fishermen and works directly with them. Most of the local boats are owned by independent fishermen who sustainably work with rod and reel. They fish because they love to fish, and it's in their blood. They pride themselves in the care they take with each and every fish from the way they're bled to how they're iced down immediately when caught.
